Nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery and manufacturing method therefor

A manufacturing method for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery including:

• a positive electrode;
• a negative electrode having a negative electrode active material mixture layer containing a negative electrode active material;
• a separator placed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode;
• a nonaqueous electrolyte;
• and
• a battery case, the method comprising:
• preparing the negative electrode having the negative electrode active material mixture layer which contains coated graphite particles in which a surface of each graphite particle is covered with a coating layer containing first amorphous carbon and second amorphous carbon, and which contains third amorphous carbon, the negative electrode active material mixture layer having an arithmetic-average surface roughness Ra of 2.8 μm to 3.4 μm;
• placing the separator having an elastic modulus of 15.1 MPa to 36.3 MPa between the positive electrode and the negative electrode;
• and
• placing the nonaqueous electrolyte containing a difluorophosphate salt and a lithium salt of an oxalate complex anion inside the battery case.
