The described system and method reviews past receipts from purchases and past purchase patterns and, in response to a request, returns a recommendation about future scheduling or future purchases.

A computer based system for concierge processing comprising:
- a calendar server that provides calendar data for an individual;
- a merchant category code database server that provides merchant category code (mcc) data for the individual;
- a user preference server that provides user preference data for the individual;
- and
- a concierge processor,
- executing a learning algorithm on the calendar data, mcc data and user preference data to determine purchase routine data for the individual;
- and
- In response to the purchase routine data, communicating a schedule recommendation to the user.
