Abstract
A liquid crystal display device provided with a liquid crystal display panel having a pair of transparent substrates disposed to face with each other via a liquid crystal Iayer, and a backlight unit disposed on a back surface of the liquid crystal display panel for radiating a backlight ray is configured to have a plate member opposite a side wall surfaces of the liquid crystal display panel and a side wall surfaces of the backlight unit. The plate member is fixed to the side wall surface of the liquid crystal display and the side wall surface of the backlight unit.
Claims9
A liquid crystal display device comprising:
- a liquid crystal display panel including a pair of substrates;
- and
- a backlight unit disposed for radiating a light to the liquid crystal display panel;
- wherein
- the backlight unit has a light guide plate, a light source, and a frame unit,
- the frame unit contains the light guide plate and has a wall portion,
- one substrate of the pair of substrates has a first side surface,
- the wall portion has a second side surface, which is an outside surface of the backlight unit,
- a flat adhesive member, extending from the first side surface to the second side surface in continuity, has a flat adhesive surface which attaches to the first side surface and the second side surface, and
- the flat adhesive surface does not protrude into a gap between the first side surface and the second side surface.
A liquid crystal display device comprising:
- a liquid crystal display panel including a pair of substrates;
- and
- a backlight unit disposed for radiating a light to the liquid crystal display panel,
- wherein
- the backlight unit has a light guide plate, a light source, and a frame unit,
- the light guide plate disposed in the frame unit and has an edge portion,
- the frame unit has a wall portion, which is located at an outer side of the edge portion,
- one substrate of the pair of substrates has a first side surface,
- the wall portion has a second side surface, which is an outside surface of the backlight unit,
- a flat adhesive member, opposing to the first side surface and the second side surface in continuity, attaches to the first side surface and the second side surface by a flat adhesive surface, and
- the flat adhesive surface does not protrude into a gap between the first side surface and the second side surface.
A liquid crystal display device comprising:
- a liquid crystal display panel including a pair of substrates;
- and
- a backlight unit disposed for radiating a light to the liquid crystal display panel,
- wherein
- the backlight unit has a light guide plate, a light source, and a frame unit,
- the light guide plate is housed in the frame unit,
- the frame unit has a wall portion, which is located at a periphery of the light guide plate,
- one substrate of the pair of substrates has a first side surface,
- the wall portion has a second side surface, which is an outside surface of the backlight unit,
- a flat adhesive member, opposing to the first side surface and the second side surface in continuity, has a flat inner surface which attaches to the first side surface and the second side surface, and
- the flat inner surface does not protrude into a gap between the first side surface and the second side surface.
