Abstract
The present invention relates to spherical, dense micrometre-sized particles comprising colourants. The invention also relates to a material comprising these particles intended for use in papermaking, paint, agri-food, cosmetics or pharmaceuticals. It also relates to the process for preparing these particles and their incorporation in a matrix.
Claims23
1-13. (canceled)
Inorganic particles, comprising spherical, dense and micrometer-sized, which particles comprise organic colorants in the amount of between 5 and 30% by mass relative to the mass of the particles.
A process for preparing inorganic particles, comprising the following non-dissociable and continuous stages in a same reactor:
- a) spraying a liquid solution containing one or more precursors of a three-dimensional system for the inorganic particles in a given molar concentration in a solvent into a reactor, in order to obtain a mist of droplets of the liquid solution, the liquid further comprising at least one colorant;
- b) heating the mist to a drying temperature sufficient to evaporate the solvent and form particles;
- c) heating the particles formed in step b) to a pyrolysis temperature sufficient to convert the one or more precursors to form the inorganic particles;
- d) optionally, densifying the inorganic particles formed in step c);
- and
- e) recovering the inorganic particles formed.
