A sterile, body-absorbable composition comprising two or more separate reactive putties which can be hand mixed or kneaded together to form a settable polyurethane or polyureathane putty composition which hardens into its fully cured solid form at room temperature and body temperature,
- the first putty comprising a prepolymer and one or more diisocyanates in amounts sufficient to produce a putty,
- the second putty comprising a prepolymer and one or more polyols, polyamines, or polyols and polyamines in amounts sufficient to produce a putty,
- wherein each putty independently further comprises an optional particulate component such that the amount of the particulate material in the settable composition is in a range of from about 50%-60%, 60%-70%, or 70%-80% of the composition by weight, and
- wherein the settable composition optionally comprises between 5% to 10% of one or more additive materials.
