Abstract
Present device is a cabinet which produces a low/no heat high energy UV beam for disinfecting heat sensitive or non-heat sensitive items.
Claims18
A sterilization appliance cabinet for sterilizing an object comprising:
- a) a sealing door;
- b) a cabinet interior having reflective inactivation walls;
- c) a lamp assembly comprising a low heat, high energy UV lamp output;
- d) an appliance control panel;
- and
- e) wherein the lamp assembly is positioned to deliver the low heat UV light to the cabinet interior via a light cable.

A method of sterilizing an object comprising:
- a) placing the object to be sterilized in a sterilization appliance cabinet, the cabinet comprising:
- i. a sealing door;
- ii. a cabinet interior having reflective inactivation walls;
- iii. a lamp assembly comprising a low heat, high energy UV lamp output;
- iv. an appliance control panel;
- and
- v. wherein the lamp assembly is positioned to deliver the low heat UV light to the cabinet interior;
- and
- b) operating the appliance for a time sufficient to sterilize the object placed in the cabinet.
