A method for treating a glioma tumour comprising administering to a human having a glioma tumour a combination of:
- (i) an alkylating agent, and
- (ii) a botanical drug substance comprising tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD),
- wherein the botanical drug substance inhibits cancer cell growth.
A method for increasing the efficacy of temozolomide in inhibiting cancer cell growth or reducing cancer cell viability comprising administering to a human having a glioma tumour a combination of:
- (i) temozolomide, and
- (ii) a botanical drug substance comprising tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD), thereby increasing the efficacy of temozolomide in inhibiting cancer cell growth or reducing cancer cell viability.
A method for treating a glioma tumour comprising administering to a human having a glioma tumour a combination of:
- (i) a selective estrogen receptor modulator, and
- (ii) a botanical drug substance comprising tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) in a ratio based on weight of from 2:1 to 1:2 (THC:CBD).
A method for preparing a botanical drug substance, wherein the botanical drug substance comprises tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD), the method comprising:
