Abstract
An apparatus and electronic circuitry wherein the apparatus includes a first electrode arranged to enable an output indicative of a bioelectrical signal to be provided; a second electrode; and a deformable material positioned between the first electrode and the second electrode wherein the deformable material is positioned within the apparatus such that deformation of the deformable material causes a change in charge distribution across the first electrode and second electrode to enable an output indicative of a biomechanical signal to be provided by the apparatus.
Claims15
An apparatus comprising:
- a first electrode arranged to enable an output indicative of a bioelectrical signal to be provided;
- a second electrode;
- and
- a deformable material positioned between the first electrode and the second electrode wherein the deformable material is positioned within the apparatus such that deformation of the deformable material causes a change in charge distribution across the first electrode and second electrode to enable an output indicative of a biomechanical signal to be provided by the apparatus.
Electronic circuitry comprising:
- means for receiving a first input signal from a sensing apparatus;
- means for receiving a second input signal from the sensing apparatus;
- means for processing the first input signal and the second input signal so as to enable a biomechanical signal to be separated from a bioelectrical signal;
- wherein the means for processing the first input signal and the second input signal is coupled to a first output arranged to provide an output indicative of the bioelectric signal coupled to a second output arranged to provide an output indicative of the biomechanical signal.
A system comprising:
- an apparatus comprising:
- a first electrode arranged to enable an output indicative of a bioelectrical signal to be provided;
- a second electrode;
- and
- a deformable material positioned between the first electrode and the second electrode wherein the deformable material is positioned within the apparatus such that deformation of the deformable material causes a change in charge distribution across the first electrode and second electrode to enable an output indicative of a biomechanical signal to be provided by the apparatus;
- and
- electronic circuitry comprising:
- means for receiving a first input signal from the apparatus;
- means for receiving a second input signal from the apparatus;
- means for processing the first input signal and the second input signal so as to enable a biomechanical signal to be separated from a bioelectrical signal;
- wherein the means for processing the first input signal and the second input signal is coupled to a first output arranged to provide an output indicative of the bioelectric signal coupled to a second output arranged to provide an output indicative of the biomechanical signal.
