An ink composition comprising:
- an aromatic epoxy resin;
- a thermal acid generator;
- and
- an organic dye.

A cured pattern having light transmittance of 30% or less at a thickness of 300 nm or less, the cured pattern comprising:
- a derivative in which an acid generated by a thermal acid generator and an epoxy group of an aromatic epoxy resin form bonds;
- and
- an organic dye.
