Abstract
This application discloses a method for a handover of a mobile station between a source base station and a target base station. The target base station receives a handover request message from the source base station. The handover request message includes quality of service (QoS) information of the mobile device, radio bearer identifier information of the source base station, and a first mapping relationship between a flow and a radio bearer of the source base station. The target base station sends a handover acknowledgement message to the source base station.
Claims20
A method for a handover of a mobile device between a source base station and a target base station, comprising:
- receiving, by the target base station, a handover request message from the source base station, wherein the handover request message comprises quality of service (QoS) information of a mobile device, radio bearer identifier information of the source base station, and a first mapping relationship between a flow and an radio bearer of the source base station;
- transmitting, by the target base station, a handover acknowledgement message to the source base station.
A base station which acts as a target base station in a handover process, comprising:
- a receiver, configured to receive a handover request message from a source base station, wherein the handover request message comprises quality of service (QoS) information of a mobile device, radio bearer identifier information of the source base station and a first mapping relationship between a flow and an radio bearer of the source base station;
- a transmitter, configured to send a handover acknowledgement message to the source base station.
A computer-readable storage medium having a computer-readable program recorded thereon which, when executed by a processor in a base station which acts as a target base station in a handover process, cause the processor to implement operations comprising:
- receiving a handover request message from a source base station, wherein the handover request message comprises quality of service (QoS) information of a mobile device, radio bearer identifier information of the source base station, and a first mapping relationship between a flow and an radio bearer of the source base station;
- and
- transmitting a handover acknowledgement message to the source base station.
