Universal personal identification signal

A method of enabling a personal transponder signal using a first apparatus and a second apparatus, the method comprising:

• detecting the presence of a first apparatus upon entering an environment of one or more second apparatus;
• identifying data relating to the first apparatus in a dedicated server;
• performing a secured exchange of authentication data between the first apparatus and the second apparatus;
• and
• initiating substantive interaction with the first apparatus using the personal transponder signal.

A method of creating a physical environment of mobile beacons and stationary scanners able to sense the presence of a personal universal identifier signal, the method comprising:

• downloading onto a mobile beacon a signaling application from a scanner manufacturer or service provider;
• storing beacon and user data on a dedicated server;
• determining capabilities of the scanner, said capabilities depending on requirements of scanner features, said determination made by the scanner manufacturer;
• storing scanner data on the dedicated server;
• and
• transmitting metadata from the dedicated server to the scanner for storage,
• wherein the scanner operates a sensor.

A method of enabling a universal signal using a beacon and a detector, the method comprising:

• passively transmitting the universal transponder signal from the beacon;
• transmitting, in response to the universal transponder signal, a request signal from the detector;
• receiving the request signal at the beacon, wherein the beacon is unrecognizable to the detector;
• verifying a detector application and granting access to the detector;
• receiving an array of tokens at the beacon;
• and
• transmitting the array of tokens to the detector, thereby creating a session between the beacon and detector, securing the universal transponder signal, and making the signal useable by multiple detectors.

A universal personal transponder environment comprising:

• a beacon apparatus carried by a user, said apparatus including a beacon personal transponder software module;
• at least one scanner apparatus including a scanner personal transponder software module;
• and
• a dedicated server having at least one database for storing data and multiple software modules for implementing the universal personal transponder environment.
