Abstract
A computer-implemented system and method for facilitating interactions via automatic agent responses is provided. A request for information for an agent is received from a user during an interaction with the agent. A list of candidate responses to the request is generated and one of the candidate responses is automatically selected when the agent fails to respond to the request within a predetermined time period. The selected response is provided to the user on behalf of the agent.
Claims20
A computer-implemented system for facilitating interactions via automatic agent responses, comprising:
- a database to store candidate responses;
- and
- a server comprising a central processing unit, memory, an input port to receive the candidate responses from the database, and an output port, wherein the central processing unit is configured to:
- receive for an agent a request for information from a user during an interaction with the agent;
- generate a list of at least a portion of the candidate responses to the request;
- automatically select one of the candidate responses when the agent fails to respond to the request within a predetermined time period;
- and
- provide the selected response to the user on behalf of the agent.
