Abstract
A network access transceiver with a housing, a first communication system for connecting to the internet, and a second communication system disposed for connecting to a wireless device. The second communication system is a Bluetooth communication module, a wifi communication module, and/or a UWB communication module. The second communication system is removable and separable from the housing.

- A network access transceiver comprising:
- a housing;
- a controller disposed within the housing;
- first communication system disposed within the housing and connected to the controller for connecting to the internet;
- and
- second communication system disposed within the housing and connected to the controller for connecting to a wireless device, wherein the second communication system is removable and separable from the housing.

- The transceiver of claim 1, further comprising a terminal disposed on the housing and connectable to a removable power tool battery pack.

- The transceiver of claim 2, wherein the power tool battery pack provides power to at least one of the first and second communication systems, and the controller.

- The transceiver of claim 2, further comprising a charger circuitry disposed within the housing and connected to the terminal for charging the power tool battery pack.

- The transceiver of claim 1, wherein the first communication system connects to the internet via at least one of a wired connection and a wireless connection.

- The transceiver of claim 5, wherein the wireless connection is a cellular network connection.

- The transceiver of claim 1, wherein the wireless device is one of a tag, a personal computing device, a power tool and a wearable item.

- The transceiver of claim 1, wherein the second communication system comprises at least one of a Bluetooth communication module, a wifi communication module, and a UWB communication module.
