Abstract

The invention relates to a battery module having at least one battery cell (4), wherein the battery module (1) comprises a flow-guiding element (13) which is arranged directly adjacent to the at least one battery cell (4) and which has a main body (14) and at least one spacer element (15), wherein the at least one spacer element (15) spaces the main body (14) apart from the at least one battery cell (4), forming at least one first flow chamber (16), through which temperature-control fluid can flow, between the main body (14) and the at least one battery cell (4), wherein the battery module (1) furthermore comprises a second flow chamber (27) designed for the throughflow of temperature-control fluid, which second flow chamber is connected in fluid-conducting fashion to the first flow chamber (16), wherein the first flow chamber (16) is designed such that temperature-control fluid flows from the second flow chamber (27) into the first flow chamber (26) substantially by means of the capillary effect.
