Abstract
A lithium ion secondary battery includes at least a positive electrode, a separator, a first intermediate layer, a second intermediate layer, and a negative electrode. The separator is arranged between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The first intermediate layer is arranged between the separator and the negative electrode. The second intermediate layer is arranged between the first intermediate layer and the negative electrode. The first intermediate layer and the second intermediate layer are each a porous layer. The first intermediate layer contains at least a metal organic framework. The second intermediate layer is electrically insulating.
Claims6
A lithium ion secondary battery comprising at least:
- a positive electrode;
- a separator;
- a first intermediate layer;
- a second intermediate layer;
- and
- a negative electrode,
- the separator being arranged between the positive electrode and the negative electrode,
- the first intermediate layer being arranged between the separator and the negative electrode,
- the second intermediate layer being arranged between the first intermediate layer and the negative electrode,
- the first intermediate layer and the second intermediate layer each being a porous layer,
- the first intermediate layer containing at least a metal organic framework,
- the second intermediate layer being electrically insulating,
- the metal organic framework being formed by alternately stacking a first layer and a second layer,
- the first layer being formed by stacking an aromatic compound in a direction intersecting with a direction of stack of the first layer and the second layer,
- the aromatic compound containing two carboxylate anions,
- the two carboxylate anions satisfying para-positional relation, and
- the second layer being formed of lithium ions coordinated to the carboxylate anion.
A method of manufacturing a lithium ion secondary battery comprising at least:
- forming a first intermediate layer by applying a first paste to a surface of a separator;
- forming a second intermediate layer by applying a second paste to a surface of the first intermediate layer;
- and
- arranging a positive electrode, the separator, and a negative electrode,
- the separator being arranged between the positive electrode and the negative electrode,
- the negative electrode being arranged to be opposed to the second intermediate layer,
- the first paste containing at least a reaction product of aromatic dicarboxylic acid and lithium hydroxide and an organic solvent, and
- the second paste containing at least an inorganic filler and water.
