An electrode and a device employing the same are provided. The electrode can include a metal network structure, and a hollow active material network structure. In particularly, the metal network structure is disposed in the hollow active material network structure. The weight ratio of the metal network structure to the hollow active material network structure is from 0.5 to 155.

An electrode, comprising:
- a metal network structure;
- and
- a hollow active material network structure, wherein the metal network structure is disposed in the hollow active material network structure, wherein the weight ratio of the metal network structure to the hollow active material network structure is from 0.5 to 155.
A method for fabricating an electrode, comprising:
- providing a metal network structure;
- and
- depositing an active material on the surface of the metal network structure, obtaining the electrode, wherein the weight ratio of the metal network structure and the hollow active material network structure is from 0.5 to 155.
