Abstract
An electronic device equipped with a processor, wherein the processor, when an audio device is connected which has a sound emission section which outputs a sound and a sound reception section in which a sound is inputted, instructs the audio device to acquire unique authentication information, and wherein the processor performs personal authentication of a user wearing the audio device based on the authentication information from the audio device.
Claims10
An electronic device comprising:
- a processor,
- wherein the processor, when an audio device is connected which has a sound emission section which outputs a sound and a sound reception section in which a sound is inputted, instructs the audio device to acquire unique authentication information, and
- wherein the processor performs personal authentication of a user wearing the audio device based on the authentication information from the audio device.
An audio device comprising:
- a sound emission section which outputs a sound;
- and
- a sound reception section in which a sound is inputted,
- wherein the audio device, when an electronic device is connected thereto, outputs to the electronic device unique authentication information acquired in accordance with an instruction received from the electronic device so as to acquire the authentication information.
A control method for an electronic device, comprising:
- transmitting an instruction signal to an audio device connected to the electronic device;
- acquiring, from the audio device, unique authentication information of a user based on an echo wave of a sound outputted from the audio device to the user wearing the audio device in response to the instruction signal;
- and
- performing personal authentication of the user based on the authentication information.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon a program that is executable by a computer in an electronic device to actualize functions comprising:
- transmitting an instruction signal to an audio device connected to the electronic device;
- acquiring, from the audio device, unique authentication information of a user based on an echo wave of a sound outputted from the audio device to the user wearing the audio device in response to the instruction signal;
- and
- performing personal authentication of the user based on the authentication information.
