Dynamic adjustment of a user interface

An electronic device comprising:

• a touchscreen display;
• a sensor to detect an ambient light condition;
• and
• processor circuitry to:
• identify a color characteristic of a background image to be presented on the touchscreen display;
• identify a plurality of user interface components to be presented on the touchscreen display, at least one of the plurality of user interface components including text;
• blur the background image;
• set a display color of the text based on the color characteristic of the background image;
• present, via the touchscreen display, the plurality of user interface components, including the text, on the blurred background image;
• and
• modify a display color of the touchscreen display based on the detected ambient light condition.

At least one storage device comprising instructions that, when executed, cause at least one processor of an electronic device to at least:

• identify a color characteristic of a background image to be presented on a touchscreen display of the electronic device;
• blur the background image;
• identify a plurality of user interface components to be presented on the touchscreen display, at least one of the plurality of user interface components including text;
• set a display color of the text based on the color characteristic of the background image;
• instruct the touchscreen display to present the plurality of user interface components, including the text, on the blurred background image;
• and
• modify a display color of the touchscreen display based on an ambient light condition corresponding to an output of a sensor of the electronic device.

An electronic device comprising:

• means for sensing an ambient light condition;
• means for displaying a background image and a plurality of user interface components;
• and
• means for processing, the processing means to:
• identify a color characteristic of the background image to be displayed via the display means;
• identify the plurality of user interface components to be displayed via the display means, at least one of the plurality of user interface components including text;
• blur the background image;
• set a display color of the text based on the color characteristic of the background image;
• cause the display means to display the plurality of user interface components, including the text, on the blurred background image;
• and
• modify a display color of the display means based on the ambient light condition.
