Abstract
A method for displaying transmission status of a multimedia messaging service (MMS) message and a telecommunication terminal using the method, including displaying the currently transmitting content and transmission progress of the MMS message while the telecommunication terminal transmits the MMS message. A user can check the content of the MMS message being currently transmitted together with the transmission progress of the MMS message. The user also can cancel the transmission of the erroneous MMS message before completing the transmission of the MMS message.
Claims9
A method for transmitting contents in a mobile terminal, comprising:
- selecting, in the mobile terminal, contents to be transmitted, the contents comprising at least one of text information, image information, or video information;
- receiving, from a user through an interface of the mobile terminal, a sending request for the selected contents in a message form;
- and
- displaying the selected contents sequentially on a display of the mobile terminal and displaying information on the transmission of the selected contents before transmission of the selected contents are completed.
A mobile terminal to transmit contents, comprising:
- a display;
- an input interface to receive, from a user, a selection of contents to be transmitted and a sending request for the selected contents in a message form, the contents comprising at least one of text information, image information, or video information;
- a storage to store the contents;
- a transmitter to transmit, in response to the sending request, the selected contents sequentially;
- and
- a controller configured to control the display to display the selected contents sequentially and to display information on transmission of the selected contents before the transmission of the selected contents are completed.
