Abstract
There is provided an information processing apparatus including: a generation unit configured to generate tactile information indicating a tactile sense to be perceived by a user based on a relative moving direction of a reference position relative to a first virtual object in a virtual space, the reference position being moved in the virtual space in response to movement of an operation body in a real space; and an output unit configured to output tactile presentation information for making the user perceive the tactile sense with a tactile presentation device configured to perform tactile presentation based on the tactile presentation information.
Claims20
An information processing apparatus comprising:
- a generation unit configured to generate tactile information indicating a tactile sense to be perceived by a user based on a relative moving direction of a reference position relative to a first virtual object in a virtual space, the reference position being moved in the virtual space in response to movement of an operation body in a real space;
- and
- an output unit configured to output tactile presentation information for making the user perceive the tactile sense with a tactile presentation device configured to perform tactile presentation based on the tactile presentation information,
- wherein the generation unit and the output unit are each implemented via at least one processor.
An information processing method, implemented via at least one processor, the method comprising:
- generating tactile information indicating a tactile sense to be perceived by a user based on a relative moving direction of a reference position relative to a first virtual object in a virtual space, the reference position being moved in the virtual space in response to movement of an operation body in a real space;
- and
- outputting tactile presentation information for making the user perceive the tactile sense with a tactile presentation device configured to perform tactile presentation based on the tactile presentation information.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium having embodied thereon a program, which when executed by a computer, causes the computer to execute a method, the method comprising:
- generating tactile information indicating a tactile sense to be perceived by a user based on a relative moving direction of a reference position relative to a first virtual object in a virtual space, the reference position being moved in the virtual space in response to movement of an operation body in a real space;
- and
- outputting tactile presentation information for making the user perceive the tactile sense with a tactile presentation device configured to perform tactile presentation based on the tactile presentation information.
