Abstract
A method comprising receiving an indication of a first input associated with an information item, determining that the first input corresponds with a first part of an invocation input associated with invocation of display of, at least part of, content associated with the information item, identifying a second part of the invocation input, the second part of the invocation input being immediately subsequent to the first part of the invocation input, and causing rendering, on a variable texture surface, of a textural representation of a guidance indicative of the second part is disclosed.

A method comprising:
- transmitting a first signal to a display of an apparatus, where the display is at least part of a virtual or, augmented reality device configured to be worn by a user with the display located in front of at least one eye of the user, where the first signal comprises notification content of a notification to the user to be visually displayed on the display;
- receiving an input from the user in regard to the notification content visually displayed on the display;
- identifying the input from the user as at least one recognizable response, of a plurality of predetermined recognizable responses, to the notification;
- and
- transmitting a second signal to a textural feedback device, where the second signal is configured to at least partially instruct the textural feedback device to provide textural feedback to the user, where the second signal is, at least partially, based upon both:
- the notification, and
- the input received from the user in regard to the notification content visually displayed on the display of the virtual or augmented reality device worn by the user.
An apparatus, comprising:
- at least one processor;
- at least one non-transitory memory including computer program code, where the memory and the computer program code are configured to, working with the processor, cause the apparatus to perform at least the following:
- cause transmitting of a first signal to a display of an apparatus, where the display is at least part of a virtual or augmented reality device configured to be worn by a user with the display located in front of at least one eye of the user, where the first signal comprises notification content of a notification to the user to be visually displayed on the display;
- allow receiving of an input from the user in regard to the notification content visually displayed on the display;
- identify the input from the user as at least one recognizable response, of a plurality of predetermined recognizable responses, to the notification;
- and
- cause transmitting of a second signal to a textural feedback device, where the second signal is configured to at least partially instruct the textural feedback device to provide textural feedback to the user, where the second signal is, at least partially, based upon both:
- the notification, and
- the input received from the user in regard to the notification content visually displayed on the display of the virtual or augmented reality device worn by the user.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium encoded with instructions that, when executed by an apparatus, causes the apparatus to perform:
- transmitting a first signal to a display of an apparatus, where the display is at least part of a virtual or augmented reality device configured to be worn by a user with the display located in front of at least one eye of the user, where the first signal comprises notification content of a notification to the user to be visually displayed on the display;
- receiving an input from the user in regard to the notification content visually displayed on the display;
- identifying the input from the user as at least one recognizable response, of a plurality of predetermined recognizable responses, to the notification;
- and
- transmitting a second signal to a textural feedback device, where the second signal is configured to at least partially instruct the textural feedback device to provide textural feedback to the user, where the second signal is, at least partially, based upon both:
- the notification, and
- the input received from the user in regard to the notification content visually displayed on the display of the virtual or augmented reality device worn by the user.
