Multi-LED/Multi-Chip Color Mixing Optics

An optic, comprising:

• a light pipe extending from a proximal end to a distal end about an optical axis, said light pipe being configured to receive light from a light source at said proximal end,
• a reflector extending from a proximal end to a distal end, said reflector comprising:
• a central reflector optically coupled to said distal end of the light pipe for receiving at least a portion of the light emitted by the light source and for reflecting at least a portion of said received light,
• a peripheral reflector having at least one reflective surface and an output surface, said peripheral reflector being coupled to said central reflector for receiving at least a portion of said reflected light and reflecting said received light toward said output surface, and
• a nested lens optically coupled said distal end of the reflector, said nested lens having a peripheral lens optically coupled to said output surface of the peripheral reflector and a central lens surrounded by said peripheral lens, wherein said lens comprises a textured surface.
