Photoelectric Switch And Sensor Unit

A photoelectric switch comprising:

• a housing having a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape;
• a display unit attached to a first surface of an outer surface of the housing;
• a light projecting unit and a light receiving unit provided on a second surface located adjacent to the first surface;
• a receiving unit provided on the first surface and configured to receive operation;
• a display control unit configured to cause the display unit to display a threshold adjusted through the receiving unit and a signal value indicating an amount of light received by the light receiving unit;
• a control board housed on an inside of the housing, the display control unit being mounted on the control board;
• a signal cable for connecting the control board and the display unit;
• a shield member provided in at least a part of a side surface of the display unit;
• and
• a cover member configured to sandwich the shield member between the cover member and the side surface of the display unit and cover at least a part of at least the side surface of the display unit.

A sensor unit comprising:

• a housing having a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape;
• a display unit attached to a first surface of an outer surface of the housing;
• a detecting unit provided on a second surface located adjacent to the first surface and configured to output a detection signal according to a physical quantity detected from a detection target;
• a receiving unit provided on the first surface and configured to receive operation;
• a display control unit configured to cause the display unit to display a threshold adjusted through the receiving unit and a signal value indicating the physical quantity detected by the detecting unit;
• a control board housed on an inside of the housing, the display control unit being connected to the control board;
• a signal cable for connecting the control board and the display unit;
• and
• a cover member including a window section for exposing a display region of the display unit, configured to cover a non-display region of the display unit, and provided outside the housing.
