Method of manufacturing proximity sensor and manufacturing system for proximity sensor

A manufacturing system for a proximity sensor outputting presence or absence of a detection object or a position of the detection object as a detection result, the manufacturing system comprising:

• a thermostatic chamber configured to accommodate one proximity sensor or a plurality of the proximity sensors and change a temperature environment, the proximity sensor including a detection part that includes a detection coil and a capacitor, an oscillation circuit that excites the detection part, a temperature detection part that detects a temperature inside a casing of the proximity sensor, and a control calculation part that outputs a signal indicating a distance to the detection object as the detection result based on a signal change occurring in the detection part;
• a storage unit configured to set an environment of the proximity sensor to a plurality of different temperatures respectively and store temperature detected by the temperature detection part of the proximity sensor in association with the detection result output by the control calculation part at each temperature;
• a determination unit configured to determine a characteristic parameter unique to a target proximity sensor based on the stored temperature and detection result;
• and
• a setting unit configured to set the determined characteristic parameter for the target proximity sensor.
