Integrating Ride Hailing Services Into A Navigation Application

A system comprising:

• one or more processors;
• and
• a computer-readable medium including one or more sequences of instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, causes:
• presenting, by the mapping application, a reservation option corresponding to a third-party application on a display interface of the mapping application;
• receiving, by the mapping application, a user input selecting the reservation option;
• invoking, by the mapping application, an application extension corresponding to the third-party application, the third-party application associated with a third-party service;
• and
• reserving, by the mapping application, via the application extension, a service with the third-party service without displaying the third-party application on the display.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium including one or more sequences of instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, causes:

• presenting, by the mapping application, a reservation option corresponding to a third-party application on a display interface of the mapping application;
• receiving, by the mapping application, a user input selecting the reservation option;
• invoking, by the mapping application, an application extension corresponding to the third-party application, the third-party application associated with a third-party service;
• and
• reserving, by the mapping application, via the application extension, a service with the third-party service without displaying the third-party application on the display.
