Abstract
The present invention describes a muscle enhancement device comprises a pad sandwiched between two pieces of fabric. The pad is surround by a transitional edge. When muscle enhancement device is being worn properly, the muscle enhancement device is changed from a relaxed state to a stretched state and pad provides a soft, comfortable diffused and obscure edge.
Claims14
A method to make a porous pad for a garment, comprising
- providing a piece of polymer foam to be used to form a pad;
- providing a template having a cavity in a first shape;
- pressing the mold on to the polymer foam and applying pressure;
- forming a pad in the first shape when the foam emerges through the cavity of the mold;
- and
- cutting off the pad in the first shape along a flat surface of the mold using a saw.

A polymer foam pad for a garment, comprising
- 3-D porous polyurethane foam having
- a center zone, having a thickness H between 0.8-1.6 cm;
- an tapered edge zone, surrounding the center portion, having a gradual decline in thickness from the center portion to a periphery of the pad, having a thickness H edge between 0.05-0.8 cm;
- a length L from one position of the edge zone to a farthest point in the edge zone is between 14-25 cm;
- wherein and edge zone having less pores than the center zone, and the edge zone have larger pores than the center zone;
- and
- the foam pad is in relaxed state when it is not worn and the foam pad is in a tension state when it is worn.
