Abstract
In one embodiment, a social networking system determines a user identifier of a caller placing a call to a receiving user based on the call's phone number, accesses one or more data stores for information associated with the caller, and present to the receiving user the information associated with the caller.

A method comprising:
- by one or more computing devices, accessing a communication sent by an initiating user to a receiving user of a client computing device;
- by one or more computing devices, accessing, from a network comprising a database comprising a plurality of profiles, information associated with the initiating user, at least one first profile corresponding to the initiating user and at least one second profile corresponding to the receiving user;
- and
- providing for presentation on a display of the client computing device at least part of the information associated with the initiating user.
The media of claim 33, wherein the communication comprises a communication record of a previous communication from the initiating user to the receiving user.
One or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media embodying software that is operable when executed to:
- access a communication sent by an initiating user to a receiving user of a client computing device;
- access from a network comprising a database comprising a plurality of profiles, information associated with the initiating user, at least one first profile corresponding to the initiating user and at least one second profile corresponding to the receiving user;
- and
- provide for presentation on a display of the client computing device at least part of the information associated with the initiating user.
A system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- a memory coupled to the processors comprising instructions executable by the processors, wherein the processors are operable when executing the instructions to:
- access a communication sent by an initiating user to a receiving user of a client computing device;
- access from a network comprising a database comprising a plurality of profiles, information associated with the initiating user, at least one first profile corresponding to the initiating user and at least one second profile corresponding to the receiving user;
- and
- provide for presentation on a display of the client computing device at least part of the information associated with the initiating user.
