Abstract
The described technology can be implemented as a wireless communication method in which timing information in a wireless communication network is mapped to a signal. The timing information includes information related to a synchronization signal block index and the signal includes at least one of a reference signal on a broadcast channel and a synchronization signal. The signal is transmitted by including at least a part of the information related to the synchronization signal block index.
Claims32
A method for wireless communications, comprising:
- mapping timing information in a wireless communication network to a signal,
- wherein the timing information includes information related to a synchronization signal block index;
- and
- wherein the signal comprises a reference signal on a broadcast channel, and
- transmitting the signal, wherein the signal includes at least a part of the information related to the synchronization signal block index.
A method for wireless communications, comprising:
- receiving, by a receiving device, a signal comprising a mapping of timing information in a wireless communication network,
- wherein the timing information includes information related to a synchronization signal block index;
- and
- wherein the signal comprises a reference signal on a broadcast channel, and
- recovering at least a part of the synchronization signal block index from the signal.
An apparatus comprising a processor configured to implement a method comprising:
- mapping timing information in a wireless communication network to a signal,
- wherein the timing information includes information related to a synchronization signal block index, wherein the signal comprises a reference signal on a broadcast channel, and
- transmitting the signal, wherein the signal includes at least a part of the information related to the synchronization signal block index.
An apparatus comprising a processor configured to implement a method, comprising:
- receiving, by a receiving device, a signal comprising a mapping of timing information in a wireless communication network, wherein the timing information includes information related to a synchronization signal block index, and wherein the signal comprises a reference signal on a broadcast channel, and
- recovering at least a part of the synchronization signal block index from the signal.
