Abstract
The present invention relates to a negative electrode including a multi-protective layer and a lithium secondary battery including the same, and the multi-protective layer prevents lithium dendrite growth on a surface of the electrode, and does not cause overpotential during charge and discharge since the protective layer itself does not function as a resistive layer, and therefore, is capable of preventing battery performance decline and securing stability when operating a battery.
Claims11
A negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery comprising:
- a lithium metal layer;
- and
- a multilayer-structured protective layer formed on the lithium metal layer,
- wherein the protective layer includes a first protective layer including a composite material of carbon nanotube-ion conductive polymer;
- and a second protective layer including a composite material of carbon nanotube-electrically conductive polymer.
A negative electrode for a lithium secondary battery comprising:
- a lithium metal layer;
- a temporary protective layer formed on the lithium metal layer;
- and
- a multilayer-structured protective layer formed on the temporary protective layer,
- wherein the temporary protective metal forms an alloy with the lithium metal or is diffused into the lithium metal, and the protective layer includes a first protective layer including a composite material of carbon nanotube-ion conductive polymer;
- and a second protective layer including a composite material of carbon nanotube-electrically conductive polymer.
