Abstract
A projectile for simulating a bird strike includes a solid body having an outline of a columnar shape having a front end and a rear end, an opening opened at the front end, and a hollow elongated from the opening toward the rear end, which is formed of a gel-like or jelly-like material.

A bird-simulating impactor, comprising:
- a solid body having an outline of a columnar shape having a front end and a rear end, an opening opened at the front end, and a hollow elongated from the opening toward the rear end,
- the solid body being formed of a gel-like or jelly-like material,
- wherein the hollow has a taper shape tapering toward the rear end.
