Abstract
There is provided antibodies or antigen-binding fragments, derivatives or variants thereof which are capable of binding to the FBG domain of tenascin-C. There are also provided uses of such antibodies or antigen-binding fragments, derivatives or variants thereof, as well as methods of identifying such antibodies.

An anti-fibrinogen-like globe (FBG) domain of tenascin-C antibody or binding fragment, wherein the VH region comprises SEQ ID NO:
- 37 or a sequence at least 95% identical thereto and wherein the VL region comprises SEQ ID NO:15 or a sequence at least 95% identical thereto, or SEQ ID NO:
- 125 or a sequence at least 95% identical thereto.
A composition comprising an antibody or binding fragment of claim 1 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, excipient and/or diluent.
A method of treating rheumatoid arthritis comprising administering to a subject an effective amount of an antibody or binding fragment according to claim 1.
