Oil-based eyelash cosmetic and cosmetic method

Abstract

An oil-based eyelash cosmetic including 22 to 50% by mass of a wax (A) containing a wax having a melting point of 50° C. to less than 70° C. (A-1) and a wax having a melting point of 70° C. to 110° C. (A-2), 0.1 to 10% by mass of a nonionic surfactant having an HLB value of 6 to 12 (B), 20 to 70% by mass of a volatile oil (C) and 0 to 5% by mass of water (E), and having the ratio by mass of the component (A-1) to the component (A-2) [(A-1)/(A-2) ] of 1/0.2 to 1/5, is excellent in removability by warm water as well as volume effect, curling effect and long-lasting performance of cosmetic effect such as water resistance. Hence, makeup using the oil-based eyelash cosmetic can be removed by washing with warm water without using a special remover.
