Abstract
A device for guiding grooming of facial hair on a face and methods for using the device are disclosed. The device may include a strip of flexible material with an adhesive surface. The adhesive surface may temporarily attach the strip to a face having at least some facial hair. At least one edge of the strip may have a selected shape. The strip may be positioned on the face to cover a portion of the facial hair to be retained on the face while allowing an exposed portion of the facial hair to be removed by a shaving device. At least some part of the exposed portion of the facial hair lies along the edge of the strip with the selected shape.
Claims20
A device for guiding grooming of facial hair on a human face, comprising:
- a strip of flexible material with an adhesive surface, wherein the adhesive surface is configured to temporarily attach the strip to a human face having at least some facial hair;
- wherein at least one edge of the strip comprises a selected shape;
- wherein, while attached to the human face, the strip is configured to be positioned on the human face to cover a portion of the facial hair to be retained on the human face while allowing an exposed portion of the facial hair to be removed by a shaving device, and wherein at least some part of the exposed portion of the facial hair lies along the edge of the strip comprising the selected shape.
A method for grooming shaped facial hair on a human face, comprising:
- attaching a strip of flexible material to a human face having at least some facial hair, wherein the strip is attached to the human face using an adhesive surface on the strip, and wherein the strip comprises at least one edge with a selected shape;
- removing at least some facial hair from a portion of the human face exposed beyond one or more edges of the strip, wherein at least some of the facial hair removed includes facial hair that lies along the edge of the strip with the selected shape;
- and
- removing the strip from the human face after removing facial hair from exposed portion of the human face.
