The invention mainly relates to an identification device (1) comprising a ring (2) incorporating at least one radiofrequency transponder (3) including at least one microcontroller (7) and at least one antenna (8) for emitting an electromagnetic field conveying identification data, characterized in that said identification device (1) comprises an electrical circuit (9) comprising at least one light-sensitive element (D0), said electrical circuit (9) being mounted electrically between said microcontroller (7) and said antenna (8), in such a way that—when said light-sensitive element (D0) receives light, said light-sensitive element (D0) acts in a first state as an open switch, so as to electrically isolate said antenna with respect to said microcontroller; and—when said light-sensitive element (D0) is masked, said light-sensitive element (D0) acts in a second state as a closed switch, so as to establish an electrical connection between said antenna (8) and said microcontroller (7) in order to permit a current originating from electromagnetic induction of said antenna (8) to flow.
