Tile Installation Assembly

A tile installation assembly being configured to spread mortar and apply a plurality of tiles to the mortar, said assembly comprising:

• a cart being configured to be rolled along a support surface, said cart having a front wall, a back wall and a bottom wall, said back wall having a pair of openings, each of said openings extending into an interior of said cart;
• a plurality of wheels, each of said wheels being rotatably coupled to said cart wherein each of said wheels is configured to roll on the support surface;
• a plurality of gripping units, each of said gripping units being coupled to said cart wherein each of said gripping units is configured to be manipulated, said plurality of gripping units being arranged into a plurality of columns and rows on said cart, each of said gripping units being selectively manipulated into a gripping position wherein each of said gripping units is configured to releasably grip a tile thereby facilitating said gripping units to position the tile above the support surface, each of said gripping units being selectively manipulated into a releasing position wherein each of said gripping units is configured to place the tile on the support surface, each of said gripping units comprising a rod being coupled to and extending forwardly from said front wall of said cart such that said rod is horizontally oriented, said rod being spaced from said bottom wall of said cart, said rod having a distal end with respect to said cart;
• a pumping unit being coupled to said cart wherein said pumping unit is configured to contain a fluid mortar, said pumping unit being configured to selectively dispense the fluid mortar onto the support surface thereby facilitating the tiles to be selectively lowered onto the fluid mortar;
• and
• a plurality of tubes, each of said tubes extending downwardly from said rod such that each of said tubes is vertically oriented, said tubes being spaced apart from each other and being distributed between said front wall and said distal end, each of said tubes having an inside surface, a first end and a second end, said first end being accessible on a top side of said rod, said second end being spaced from said rod.

A tile installation assembly being configured to spread mortar and apply a plurality of tiles to the mortar, said assembly comprising:

• a cart being configured to be rolled along a support surface, said cart having a front wall, a back wall and a bottom wall, said back wall having a pair of openings, each of said openings extending into an interior of said cart;
• a vent extending through said back wall wherein said vent is configured to pass air therethrough;
• a plurality of wheels, each of said wheels being rotatably coupled to said bottom wall wherein each of said wheels is configured to roll on the support surface;
• a plurality of gripping units, each of said gripping units being coupled to said cart wherein each of said gripping units is configured to be manipulated, said plurality of gripping units being arranged into a plurality of columns and rows on said cart, each of said gripping units being selectively manipulated into a gripping position wherein each of said gripping units is configured to releasably grip a tile thereby facilitating said gripping units to position the tile above the support surface, each of said gripping units being selectively manipulated into a releasing position wherein each of said gripping units is configured to place the tile on the support surface, each of said gripping units comprising:
• a rod being coupled to and extending forwardly from said front wall of said cart such that said rod is horizontally oriented, said rod being spaced from said bottom wall of said cart, said rod having a distal end with respect to said cart,
• a plurality of tubes, each of said tubes extending downwardly from said rod such that each of said tubes is vertically oriented, said tubes being spaced apart from each other and being distributed between said front wall and said distal end, each of said tubes having an inside surface, a first end and a second end, said first end being accessible on a top side of said rod, said second end being spaced from said rod,
• a plurality of first bolts, each of said first bolts having an outer surface, said outer surface of each of said first bolts being threaded, each of said first bolts extending through said first end and said second end of an associated one of said tubes, said outer surface of each of said first bolts threadably engaging said inside surface of said associated tube,
• a plurality of first knobs, each of said first knobs being coupled to an associated one of said first bolts wherein each of said first knobs is configured to be manipulated, each of said first knobs being spaced above said rod, each of said first bolts being selectively urged downwardly and upwardly in said associated tube, and
• a plurality of grips, each of said grips being threadably coupled to said second end of an associated one of said first bolts wherein each of said grips is configured to be spaced a selected distance from the support surface when said associated first bolt is manipulated, each of said grips being configured to releasably engage an associated one of the tiles such that the plurality of tiles are arranged in plurality of columns and rows, each of said grips comprising:
• a receiver threadably engaging said second end of said associated first bolt, said receiver having a distal end with respect to said second end, said receiver being oriented collinear with said associated first bolt,
• an arm being coupled to said distal end of said receiver, said arm being oriented transverse with respect to said receiver, said arm having a first end and a second end, each of said first end and said second end of said arm being equidistant from said receiver,
• a pair of collars, each of said collars being coupled to an associated one of said first and second ends of said arm, each of said collars having an inside surface,
• a pair of second bolts, each of said second bolts having a first end, a second end and an outer surface, said outer surface of each of said second bolts being threaded, said outer surface of each of said second bolts threadably said inside surface of an associated one of said collars such that each of said second bolts is vertically oriented, said second end being spaced below said associated collar,
• a plurality of second knobs, each of said second knobs being coupled to said first end of an associated one of said second bolts wherein each of said second knobs is configured to be manipulated, and
• a plurality of suction cups, each of said suction cups having a top end and a bottom end, each of said suction cups flaring outwardly between said top end and said bottom end, said top end being coupled to said second end of an associated one of said second bolts wherein said bottom end of each of said suction cups is configured to suctionally engage the associated tile;
• and
• a pumping unit being coupled to said cart wherein said pumping unit is configured to contain a fluid mortar, said pumping unit being configured to selectively dispense the fluid mortar onto the support surface thereby facilitating the tiles to be selectively lowered onto the fluid mortar, said pumping unit comprising:
• a pair of reservoirs, each of said reservoirs being coupled to said cart, each of said reservoirs being configured to contain the fluid mortar, each of said reservoirs having a top end, said top end being open wherein said top end corresponding to each of said reservoirs is configured to receive the fluid mortar, said top end being aligned with an associated one of said openings in said cart to facilitate access to said top end,
• a pair of lids, each of said lids being removably coupled to said top end of an associated one of said reservoirs to close said associated reservoir,
• a pump being coupled to said cart, said pump having an input and an output, said input being fluidly coupled to each of said reservoirs wherein said pump is configured to urge the fluid mortar outwardly from said output,
• a plurality of conduits, each of said conduits being fluidly coupled to said output wherein each of said conduits is configured to receive the fluid mortar, each of said conduits having a distal end with respect to said pump, said distal end of each of said conduits being spaced from said bottom wall of said cart wherein said distal end of each of said conduits is configured to dispense the fluid mortar onto the support surface, said conduits being spaced apart from each other and being distributed along said bottom wall,
• a plurality of buttons, each of said buttons being coupled to said cart wherein each of said buttons is configured to be manipulated, each of said buttons being electrically coupled to said pump such that said plurality of buttons controls operational parameters of said pump, and
• a power supply being coupled to said cart, said power supply being electrically coupled to said pump, said power supply comprising at least one battery.
