Abstract
The invention relates to a nozzle for use in a device for administering a liquid medical formulation, to a method for producing the nozzle in the form of a microfluidic component and to a tool for producing microstructures of the microfluidic component. The nozzle is formed by a plastics plate with groove-like microstructures which are covered by a plastics cover on the longitudinal side in a fixed manner. The production method includes a moulding process in which a moulding tool is used, which moulding tool has complementary metal microstructures which have been produced from a semiconductor material in an electrodeposition process by means of a master component.
Claims25
Microstructured nozzle for use in a device for administering a liquid medical formulation, wherein the microstructured nozzle has a plate (12a) with preferably groove-like microstructures which are covered on the long side by a cover (12b), characterised in that
- the plate (12a) and the cover (12b) are made of preferably rigid plastics material and are firmly connected to one another, and the microstructures have been produced by means of a moulding tool (110) in a moulding process.
Nozzle according to claim 1, characterised in that the moulding tool (110) is configured according to claim 9.
Nozzle according to claim 1, characterised in that the nozzle is produced in a method according to claim 18.
Moulding tool (110), which at least as part of the moulding tool (110) (or as a tool insert) includes a metal plate with complementary microstructures (106b) or a metal foil (106f) with complementary microstructures (106b), characterised in that the metal plate or the metal foil (106f) is made of a ferromagnetic material and is retained at least partially magnetically in the tool.
Method for producing a nozzle from a basic body, which preferably has groove-like microstructures which are covered on the long side by a cover (12b), characterised in that the basic body made of plastics material is produced in a moulding process and the cover (12b) is applied to the basic body by a bonding process.
