Abstract
A speed measuring device for a wheel hub assembly equipped with a rolling bearing. The measuring device having an encoder wheel mounted on a rotating ring of the bearing, a mechanical support disposed between the encoder wheel and the ring to cause the encoder wheel and the ring to be angularly fixed to one another, and a mechanical lock for axially locking the encoder wheel in a seat formed by the mechanical lock together with the mechanical support. The encoder wheel is equipped with a base structure made of plastic material mounted in a seat.

A rotating speed measuring device for a hub of a vehicle wheel having a rolling bearing, the measuring device comprising:
- an encoder wheel made of magnetized material assembled on a rotating ring of the rolling bearing;
- mechanical supporting means, disposed between the encoder wheel and the rotating ring, wherein
- the encoder wheel and the outer ring are angularly constrained each other, and in combination,
- mechanical blocking means that axially constrains the encoder wheel, wherein
- the encoder wheel comprises a base structure made of plastic material that is mounted within a seat that is defined by the mechanical blocking means together with the mechanical supporting means.
