A surface-modified filter membrane for filtering blood, in particular for separating blood plasma and blood serum, and a method for the production thereof, a filter provided therewith and the use thereof.

Filter membrane for separating blood plasma and blood serum, wherein the filter membrane is surface-modified.
Method for producing a surface-modified filter membrane for separating blood plasma and blood serum, wherein
- (i) in a first method step, a filter membrane is provided and treated by means of a modifying reagent, and
- (ii) in a second method step, which follows the first method step (i), excess modifying reagent is removed, and
- (iii) if necessary, in a third method step, which follows the second method step (ii), the filter membrane is dried.
Filter for filtering blood or for separating blood plasma and blood serum, comprising a surface-modified filter membrane.
Method for separating blood plasma and blood serum, wherein a filter comprising a surface-modified filter membrane is used.
Kit for testing blood plasma, comprising a filter with a surface-modified filter membrane for separating blood plasma and blood serum and a cartridge, wherein the cartridge comprises a main body having a plurality of channels and cavities, and wherein the cartridge comprises a cover for the channels and cavities.
