Abstract
A method for wirelessly transmitting power from a transmission device to a reception device comprises the steps of: transmitting a signal for detecting the reception device; receiving an identification packet from the reception device; resetting a driving frequency range of the transmission device on the basis of the identification packet of the reception device; and transmitting wireless power generated within the reset driving frequency range.
Claims20
A method of wirelessly transferring power from a transfer device to a reception device, comprising:
- transmitting a signal for detecting the reception device;
- receiving an identification packet from the reception device;
- reconfiguring a range of a driving frequency of the transfer device based on the identification packet of the reception device;
- and
- transferring wireless power generated in the reconfigured range of the driving frequency.
A method of, at a reception device, wirelessly receiving power from a transfer device, comprising:
- transmitting a response signal to a detection signal from the transfer device;
- transmitting an identification packet to the transmission device;
- and
- receiving wireless power generated according to a range of a driving frequency reconfigured based on the identification packet.
A transfer device comprising:
- a transfer coil for transferring wireless power;
- a power converter for outputting power to the transfer coil;
- and
- a controller for controlling the power converter in order to control an amount of power output to the transfer coil,
- wherein the controller reconfigures a range of a driving frequency of the power converter based on an identification packet of a reception device for receiving the wireless power.
