Abstract
An intelligent door lock system is provided with a push notification. A sensor is configured to be coupled to a drive shaft of a lock. The position sensing device senses position of the drive shaft to assist in locking and unlocking a lock of a lock. An engine with a memory is coupled to the positioning sensing device. The engine and an energy source are coupled to the circuit. A push notification is provided to a dwelling user when a lock of the intelligent door lock system is manually opened.
Claims2
An intelligent door lock system with a push notification for a third party provider of goods or services, the system comprising:
- an electronic door lock constructed and arranged to cooperate with a door of a dwelling and selectively actuatable to be lock and unlocked to selectively lock and unlock the door;
- a processor for receiving data from a mobile device of the third party, the processor constructed and arranged to evaluate the data received from the mobile device to determine an authentication of the third party, and to provide a push notification to the third party when the electronic door lock is unlocked.
