## Abstract

The invention relates to a method for handling a handover of a call at a mobile entity from a WiFi network to a mobile communications network, comprising the following steps. A connection request is transmitted to a radio access network of the mobile communications network, the connection request comprising a first indicator indicating that the connection request is for a handover of an ongoing call currently handled by the WiFi network. A service request is transmitted to set up a connection to a call control node of the mobile communications network, the service request comprising a second indicator indicating that the service request is for the ongoing call currently handled by the WiFi network.

## Claims

transmitting a service request to set up a connection to a call control node of the network of the second type comprising the 3GPP mobile communications network, the service request comprising a second indicator indicating that the service request is for the ongoing call currently handled by the network of the first type comprising the WiFi network.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the first and the second indicator indicate that the request is a Dual Radio Voice Call Continuity, DRVCC handover.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the connection request is a radio resource control connection request.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the service request is a connection management service request.

### Claim 5

A mobile entity configured to handle a handover of a call at a mobile entity between different types of radio access networks comprising from a WiFi network to a 3GPP mobile communications network, the mobile entity comprising:
an interface configured to
transmit a connection request to a radio access network of a second type comprising the 3GPP mobile communications network, the connection request comprising a first indicator indicating that the connection request is for a handover of an ongoing call currently handled by a radio network of a first type comprising the WiFi network,
transmit a service request to a call control node of the network of the second type comprising the 3GPP mobile communications network, the service request comprising a second indicator indicating that the connection request is for the ongoing call currently handled by the first type of radio network.

### Claim 6

A method for operating a call control node of a mobile communications network comprising a 3GPP mobile communications network, the method comprising:
receiving a service request from a mobile entity to set up a connection, the service request comprising an indicator indicating that the connection request is for an ongoing call currently handled by a different type of radio access network comprising a WiFi network,
prioritizing the call handling of the ongoing call of the mobile entity in the call control node with a higher priority level than a default priority level assigned for a mobile originating or mobile terminating call.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The method according to claim 6, further informing an IP multimedia subsystem in response to the received service request that the ongoing call for said mobile entity should be handled with a higher priority level than the default priority level used in the IP multimedia subsystem for calls.

### Claim 8 (depends on 6)

The method according to claim 6, wherein the indicator indicates that the call is a Dual Radio Voice Call Continuity, DRVCC handover.

### Claim 9 (depends on 6)

The method according to claim 6, further comprising informing a radio access network of the mobile communications network in response to the received service request that the call for said mobile entity should be handled with a higher priority level than a default priority level assigned for a mobile originating or mobile terminating call.

### Claim 10 (depends on 6)

The method according to claim 6, further comprising informing a media gateway in response to the received service request that the call of said mobile entity should be handled with a higher priority level than a default priority level.

### Claim 11

A Call control node of a mobile communications network comprising a 3GPP mobile communications network, the call control node comprising:
an interface configured to receive a service request from a mobile entity to set up a connection, the service request comprising an indicator indicating that the connection request is for an ongoing call currently handled by a different type of radio access network comprising a WiFi network,
at least one processing unit configured to prioritize the call handling of the ongoing call of the mobile entity with a higher priority level than a default priority level in the processing in the call control node.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The call control node according to claim 11, wherein the interface is configured to informing a radio access network of the mobile communications network in response to the received service request that the call for said mobile entity should be handled with a higher priority level than a default priority level assigned for a mobile originating or mobile terminating call.

### Claim 13 (depends on 11)

The call control node according to claim 11, wherein the interface is configured to inform an IP multimedia subsystem in response to the received service request that the call for said mobile entity should be handled with a higher priority level than a default priority level assigned to calls.

### Claim 14 (depends on 11)

The call control node according to claim 11, wherein the interface is configured to inform a radio access network of the mobile communications network in response to the received service request that the call for said mobile entity should be handled with a higher priority level than a default priority level assigned for a mobile originating or mobile terminating call.
