The method includes the steps of coupling a display node to at least one base node of at least one communications network, displaying data transmitted to the at least one base node from processing devices coupled to the at least one communications network on the display node during a meeting; and recording and storing digitally the data transmitted during the meeting and written on the whiteboard to provide a record of the meeting. ## Claims ### Claim at position 1 1-81. (canceled) ### Claim 82 A method for recording a meeting, the method comprising: coupling a display node to at least one base node of at least one communications network, wherein the display node comprises at least one of a whiteboard, processing devices, and a camera, said whiteboard being configured to record electronically data written on said whiteboard; displaying data transmitted to the at least one base node from said processing devices coupled to the at least one communications network on the display node during a meeting; and recording and storing digitally any or all data output from any or all of the processing devices, said whiteboard, and said camera, the data transmitted during the meeting, and data written on the whiteboard providing a record of the meeting. ### Claim 83 (depends on 82) The method according to claim 82, wherein the record of the meeting is in a same time sequence in which the meeting was carried out. ### Claim 84 (depends on 82) The method according to claim 82, further comprising the step of recording audio transmitted from the processing devices and/or audio recorded during the meeting. ### Claim 85 (depends on 82) The method according to claim 82, wherein the display node further comprises at least one of a display, a projector, and a screen. ### Claim 86 (depends on 85) The method according to claim 85, wherein the camera configured to record the data from the at least one of the display, the screen, or the whiteboard, and further comprising the step of transmitting the recorded data to another communications network. ### Claim 87 (depends on 86) The method according to claim 86, wherein the camera is connected to at least one of the base node and the at least one communications network. ### Claim 88 (depends on 82) The method according to claim 82, wherein the display node comprises the whiteboard, and wherein said whiteboard is additionally coupled to at least one display. ### Claim 89 (depends on 82) The method according to claim 82, wherein the display node comprises the whiteboard, and wherein the whiteboard is a touchscreen LCD. ### Claim 90 (depends on 82) The method according to claim 82, wherein the display node comprises the whiteboard, and wherein the whiteboard is additionally configured to display the data transmitted to the at least one base node from the processing devices. ### Claim 91 (depends on 83) The method according to claim 83, wherein the recording and storing further comprises all data presented during the meeting and record of persons presenting said data. ### Claim 92 (depends on 82) The method according to claim 82, wherein the recording and storing digitally the data transmitted during the meeting and written on the whiteboard further comprises creating a canvas that is displayable at multiple base nodes so that the same data is able to be displayed at different remote display nodes. ### Claim 93 A system for recording a meeting, the system comprising: a display node coupled to at least one base node of at least one communications network, wherein the display node comprises at least one of a whiteboard, processing devices, and a camera, said whiteboard being configured to record electronically data written on said whiteboard, and wherein said display node is configured to display data transmitted to the at least one base node from said processing devices coupled to the at least one communications network during a meeting; and recording and storing means configured to record and store digitally any or all data output from any or all of the processing devices, said whiteboard, and said camera, the data transmitted during the meeting, and data written on the whiteboard providing a record of the meeting. ### Claim 94 (depends on 93) The system according to claim 93, wherein the record of the meeting is in a same time sequence in which the meeting was carried out. ### Claim 95 (depends on 93) The system according to claim 93, further comprising at least one microphone configured to record audio transmitted from the processing devices and/or audio recorded during the meeting. ### Claim 96 (depends on 93) The system according to claim 93, wherein the display node further comprises at least one of a display, a projector, and a screen. ### Claim 97 (depends on 96) The system according to claim 96, wherein the camera is configured to record the data from the at least one of the display, the screen, or the whiteboard. ### Claim 98 (depends on 93) The system according to claim 93, wherein the display node comprises the whiteboard, and wherein the whiteboard is a touchscreen LCD. ### Claim 99 (depends on 93) The system according to claim 93, wherein the display node comprises the whiteboard, and wherein the whiteboard is additionally configured to display the data transmitted to the at least one base node from the processing devices.
