The connecting member is foldable such that the display device may be folded at the connecting member. There is no signal transmission between the first display unit and the second display unit through the connecting member. ## Claims ### Claim 1 A display device, comprising: a first display unit; a second display unit; a connecting member for connecting the first display unit with the second display unit, the connecting member being foldable such that the display device is capable of being folded at the connecting member; wherein there is no signal transmission between the first display unit and the second display unit through the connecting member. ### Claim 2 (depends on 1) The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first display unit includes a first connecting means, and the first display unit is connected with the connecting member via the first connecting means. ### Claim 3 (depends on 2) The display device as claimed in claim 2, wherein the connecting member is a part of a layer formed with the first connecting means. ### Claim 4 (depends on 3) The display device as claimed in claim 3, wherein the layer is a polymeric layer. ### Claim 5 (depends on 1) The display device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second display unit includes a second connecting means, and the second display unit is connected with the connecting member via the second connecting means. ### Claim 6 (depends on 5) The display device as claimed in claim 5, wherein the connecting member is a part of a layer formed with the second connecting means. ### Claim 7 A foldable display device, comprising: a display panel having a first display region, a second display region, and a foldable region adjacent between the first display region and the second display region, wherein the foldable region is capable of being repeatedly folded, wherein there is no signal transmission between the first and second display regions through the foldable region. ### Claim 8 (depends on 7) The foldable display device as claimed in claim 7, wherein the foldable display device includes a polymer layer disposed in the foldable region. ### Claim 9 (depends on 7) The foldable display device as claimed in claim 7, wherein the foldable region includes a first connecting member, and at least one of the first display region and the second display region includes a second connecting member connecting to the first connecting member. ### Claim 10 (depends on 9) The foldable display device as claimed in claim 9, wherein the first connecting member and the second connecting member are formed of a same layer. ### Claim 11 (depends on 7) The foldable display device as claimed in claim 7, wherein the foldable region includes a recessed portion. ### Claim 12 (depends on 7) The foldable display device as claimed in claim 7, further comprising a control unit electrically connected to the first display region and the second display region. ### Claim 13 A foldable display device, comprising: a display panel having a first display unit, a second display unit, and a first connecting member connecting the first display unit and the second display unit, wherein the first connecting member is capable of being repeatedly folded, wherein there is no signal transmission between the first display unit and the second display unit through the first connecting member. ### Claim 14 (depends on 13) The foldable display device as claimed in claim 13, wherein the first connecting member includes a polymer layer. ### Claim 15 (depends on 13) The foldable display device as claimed in claim 13, wherein the first connecting member is a polymer layer. ### Claim 16 (depends on 13) The foldable display device as claimed in claim 13, wherein at least one of the first display unit and the second display unit includes a second connecting member connecting to the first connecting member. ### Claim 17 (depends on 16) The foldable display device as claimed in claim 16, wherein the first connecting member and the second connecting member are formed of a same layer. ### Claim 18 (depends on 13) The foldable display device as claimed in claim 13, wherein the first connecting member includes a recessed portion. ### Claim 19 (depends on 13) The foldable display device as claimed in claim 13, further comprising a control unit electrically connected to the first display unit and the second display unit.
