## Abstract

A computer-implemented system and method for planning recurring events is provided. Event objects for events are stored in a database. A trigger notifying the beginning of an event is received and an event object representing the event is generated in response to the trigger. An event class is associated with a set of parameters and is assigned to the event object. A set of activity data is created for the event object and each activity data includes structured and unstructured data describing an event activity occurred during the event. At least one event object is retrieved from the database as a model and the parameter values of the model event object are displayed. At least one of the parameter values of the model event object is modified and the modification is reflected against other parameter values of the model event object that are dependent on the modified parameter value.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A computer-implemented method for planning recurring events, comprising:
maintaining a plurality of event objects for events in a database, comprising:
receiving a trigger for notifying the beginning of an event;
generating an event object representing the event in response to the trigger;
assigning an event class to the event object, the event class being associated with a predefined set of parameters;
creating a set of activity data for the event object, each activity data comprising structured and unstructured data describing an event activity occurred during the event; and
associating each of the activity data with one or more tags;
for each of the event objects, performing analytics of the event object and calculating values for the parameters of the event object;
retrieving one event object from the database as a model and displaying the parameter values of the model event object on a display;
modifying at least one of the parameter values of the model event object;
reflecting the modification to other parameter values of the model event object that are dependent on the modified parameter value; and
displaying all the parameter values on the display for review.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

A method according to claim 1, wherein the model event object was previously created and is selected from the database.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

A method according to claim 1, further comprising:
identifying the parameter values which are dependent on the modified parameter values and the parameter values which are independent to the modified parameter values;
modifying the dependent parameter values based on the modified parameter values; and
displaying the modified parameter values, dependent modified parameter values, and independent parameter values.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

A method according to claim 1, further comprising:
computing for each event object, a value of each of the parameters using at least one of the tags, the structured data, and the unstructured data of the activity data.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

A method according to claim 1, wherein the model event object is for a future event and is based on a previous event represented by the retrieved event object.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

A method according to claim 1, further comprising:
copying the model event object; and
modifying the parameter values of the copied model event object for a recurring event.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

A method according to claim 1, further comprising:
generating activity data for the model event object; and
constructing at least one of a graph, map, and data log for the activity data.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

A method according to claim 7, further comprising:
receiving a query for specific activity data associated with the model event object; and
providing the requested specific activity data.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

A method according to claim 1, further comprising:
receiving a query for specific event objects; and
providing the requested specific event objects.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

A method according to claim 9, further comprising:
analyzing the activity data for each of the provided specific event objects; and
identifying one or more of a trend in performance of the provided specific event objects based on the analyzed activity data.

### Claim 11

A computer-implemented system for planning recurring events, comprising:
a database to maintain a plurality of event objects for events; and
a server comprising a central processing unit, memory, an input port to receive the event objects from the database, and an output port, wherein the central processing unit is configured to:
receive a trigger for notifying the beginning of an event;
generate an event object representing the event in response to the trigger;
assign an event class to the event object, the event class being associated with a predefined set of parameters;
create a set of activity data for the event object, each activity data comprising structured and unstructured data describing an event activity occurred during the event;
associate each of the activity data with one or more tags;
for each of the event objects, perform analytics of the event object and calculate values for the parameters of the event object;
retrieve one event object from the database as a model and display the parameter values of the model event object on a display;
modify at least one of the parameter values of the model event object;
reflect the modification to other parameter values of the model event object that are dependent on the modified parameter value; and
display all the parameter values on the display for review.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

A system according to claim 11, wherein the model event object was previously created and is selected from the database.

### Claim 13 (depends on 11)

A system according to claim 11, wherein the central processing unit performs the following:
identify the parameter values which are dependent to the modified parameter values and the parameter values which are independent to the modified parameter values;
modify the dependent parameter values based on the modified parameter values; and
display the modified parameter values, dependent modified parameter values, and independent parameter values.

### Claim 14 (depends on 11)

A system according to claim 11, wherein the central processing unit computes for each event object, a value of each of the parameters using at least one of the tags, the structured data, and the unstructured data of the activity data.
