## Abstract

Reduced glare light fixtures are provided. In one example implementation, a reduced glare light fixture includes a light emitting diode (LED) system. The LED system includes at least one LED module having one or more LED devices. The reduced glare light fixture further includes a bezel physically coupled to the LED system engine. The bezel has one or more glare reduction tubes. At least one of the one or more glare reduction tubes is configured to be approximately coaxial with one LED of the one or more LED devices.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A light engine module, comprising:
at least one light emitting source; and
a bezel comprising at least one glare reduction tube configured to be approximately coaxial with the at least one light emitting source.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The light engine module of claim 1, wherein the bezel is formed from a translucent material.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The light engine module of claim 2, wherein the translucent material is selected from an acrylic compound and polycarbonate.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The light engine module of claim 1, wherein the bezel is formed from an opaque material.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The light engine module of claim 1, wherein the bezel is coated with an opaque material.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The light engine module of claim 1, further comprising an optic configured to optically couple the at least one light emitting source and the at least one glare reduction tube.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The light engine module of claim 1, further comprising a heat sink comprising a plurality of fins.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The reduced glare light fixture of claim 7, wherein the at least one light emitting source is mounted on a printed circuit board that is positioned between the bezel and the heat sink.

### Claim 9

A bezel for a reduced glare light fixture, the bezel comprising:
a surface; and
at least one glare reduction tube extending from the surface.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The bezel of claim 9, wherein the surface is comprised of a translucent material.

### Claim 11 (depends on 9)

The bezel of claim 9, wherein the surface is comprised of an opaque material.

### Claim 12 (depends on 9)

The bezel of claim 9, wherein the at least one glare reduction tube is comprised of a translucent material or an opaque material.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The bezel of claim 12, wherein:
the at least one glare reduction tube comprises a plurality of glare reduction tubes; and
the surface is positioned over a plurality of light emitting sources such that each glare reduction tube is aligned with one light emitting source of the plurality of light emitting sources.

### Claim 14

A reduced glare light fixture, comprising:
at least one light emitting diode (LED) module comprising one or more LED devices;
a housing configured to accommodate the at least one LED module; and
a bezel coupled to the at least one LED module, the bezel having at least one glare reduction tube configured to be approximately coaxial with one LED device of the at least one LED module.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

The reduced glare light fixture of claim 14, wherein the at least one glare reduction tube is removably coupled to the bezel.

### Claim 16 (depends on 14)

The reduced glare light fixture of claim 14, wherein the bezel and the at least one glare reduction tube are integrally formed as a single monolithic component.

### Claim 17 (depends on 14)

The reduced glare light fixture of claim 14, wherein both the bezel and the at least one glare reduction tube are formed from a translucent material.

### Claim 18 (depends on 14)

The reduced glare light fixture of claim 14, further comprising at least one optic configured to optically couple the at least one glare reduction tube with the one LED device.

### Claim 19 (depends on 18)

The reduced glare light fixture of claim 18, wherein the at least one optic and the one LED device are recessed inside the at least one glare reduction tube such that a beam spread from the one LED device is approximately less than 50 degrees.

### Claim 20 (depends on 14)

The reduced glare light fixture of claim 14, wherein the at least one LED module comprises:
a first LED module having one or more LED devices at a first color temperature; and
a second LED module having one or more LED devices at a second color temperature, wherein the first color temperature is different than the second color temperature.
