Abstract

An electronic device according to one embodiment includes a wiring substrate, the wiring substrate having a first wiring connected to a first external terminal and a second wiring connected to a second external terminal and extending along the first wiring. Additionally, the above electronic device has a semiconductor device mounted on the above wiring substrate and electrically connected to each of the first and second wirings. Further, the above electronic device has a capacitor mounted on the above wiring substrate and electrically connected to the semiconductor device via each of the above first and second wirings. Furthermore, a distance between the above semiconductor device and capacitor is shorter than a distance between each of the above first and second external terminals and the above capacitor.

Dependent claims

An electronic device comprising:

a wiring substrate having a first wiring and a second wiring extending along the first wiring;
a semiconductor device mounted on the wiring substrate and electrically connected to each of the first and second wirings;
and
a capacitor mounted on the wiring substrate and electrically connected to the semiconductor device via each of the first and second wirings,
wherein the first wiring includes a first external-terminal connection connected to a first external terminal, a first device connection connected to a first terminal of the semiconductor device, and a first capacitor connection connected to a first electrode of the capacitor and positioned between the first device connection and the first external-terminal connection,
the second wiring includes a second external-terminal connection connected to a second external terminal, a second device connection connected to a second terminal of the semiconductor device, and a second capacitor connection connected to a second electrode of the capacitor and positioned between the second device connection and the second external-terminal connection,
a wiring path distance between the first device connection and the first capacitor connection in the first wiring is shorter than each of a wiring path distance between the first external-terminal connection and the first capacitor connection and a wiring path distance between the second external-terminal connection and the second capacitor connection, and
a wiring path distance between the second device connection and the second capacitor connection in the second wiring is shorter than each of a wiring path distance between the first external-terminal connection and the first capacitor connection and a wiring path distance between the second external-terminal connection and the second capacitor connection.

An electronic device comprising:

a wiring substrate including a first wiring path and a second wiring path, the first wiring path having a first wiring, the second wiring path extending along the first wiring and having a second wiring;
a semiconductor device mounted on the wiring substrate and electrically connected to each of the first and second wiring paths;
and
a capacitor mounted on the wiring substrate and electrically connected to the semiconductor device via each of the first and second wiring paths,
wherein the first wiring path has a first external-terminal connection connected to a first external terminal, a first device connection connected to a first terminal of the semiconductor device, and a first capacitor connection connected to a first electrode of the capacitor, arranged between the first device connection and the first external-terminal connection, and electrically connected via the first wiring,
the second wiring path has a second external-terminal connection connected to a second external terminal, a second deice connection connected to a second terminal of the semiconductor device, and a second capacitor connection connected to a second electrode of the capacitor, arranged between the second device connection and the second external-terminal connection, and electrically connected via the second wiring,
a wiring path distance between the first device connection and the first capacitor connection in the first wiring path is shorter than each of a wiring path distance between the first external-terminal connection and the first capacitor connection and a wiring path distance between the second external-terminal connection and the second capacitor connection, and
a wiring path distance between the second device connection and the second capacitor connection in the second wiring path is shorter than each of a wiring path distance between the first external-terminal connection and the first capacitor connection and a wiring path distance between the second externa-terminal connection and the second capacitor connection.
