Abstract
Functionality of a mobile device may be controlled based on speed and/or location. Rules define functional capabilities, and restrictions, based on speed and/or location. File access may also be based on speed and/or location.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- receiving, by a mobile device, global positioning system information generated by a global positioning system;
- querying, by the mobile device, an electronic database for the global positioning system information, the electronic database associating files and locations;
- identifying, by the mobile device, the files in the electronic database that are associated with the global positioning system information;
- and
- enabling, by the mobile device, an access to the files that are associated with the global positioning system information.

A system, comprising:
- a hardware processor;
- a global positioning system interfacing with the hardware processor;
- and
- a memory device, the memory device storing code, the code when executed causing the hardware processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:
- receiving global positioning system information generated by the global positioning system;
- querying an electronic database for the global positioning system information, the electronic database associating files and locations;
- identifying the files in the electronic database that are associated with the global positioning system information;
- and
- enabling an access to the files that are associated with the global positioning system information.

A memory device storing instructions that when executed cause a hardware processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:
- receiving global positioning system information generated by a global positioning system;
- querying an electronic database for the global positioning system information, the electronic database associating files and locations;
- identifying the files in the electronic database that are associated with the global positioning system information;
- and
- enabling an access to the files that are associated with the global positioning system information.
