3-dimensional displaying apparatus and method for driving 3-dimensional displaying apparatus

A 3-dimensional (3D) displaying apparatus, comprising:

• an image displaying panel having a plurality of pixels;
• and
• a 3D optical layer spaced apart from one surface of the image displaying panel,
• wherein the 3D optical layer includes a plurality of optical units,
• wherein a width of each of the optical units is more than 0% and less than 25% of a pitch of all of the plurality of pixels.

A 3-dimensional (3D) displaying apparatus, comprising:

• an image displaying panel having a plurality of pixels;
• and
• a 3D optical layer spaced apart from one surface of the image displaying panel, and wherein the 3D optical layer comprises:
• a first optical unit set having a plurality of optical units arranged at regular intervals;
• and
• a second optical unit set having a plurality of optical units arranged spaced apart from the respective optical units of the first optical unit set by a predetermined interval;
• wherein a width of each optical unit of the first and second optical unit sets is more than 0% and less than 25% of a pitch of all of the plurality of pixels.

A 3-dimensional (3D) displaying apparatus, comprising:

• an image displaying panel having a plurality of pixels;
• a 3D optical layer spaced apart from one surface of the image displaying panel;
• and
• an eye tracking unit for tracking locations of the eyes of an observer,
• wherein the 3D optical layer comprises:
• a first optical unit set having a plurality of optical units arranged at regular intervals;
• and
• a second optical unit set having a plurality of optical units arranged spaced apart from the respective optical units of the first optical unit set by a predetermined interval,
• wherein a width of each optical unit of the first and second optical unit sets is more than 0% and less than 25% of a pitch of all of the plurality of pixels.
