Method for determining precoding matrix indicator, receiving device, and sending device

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to execute a method for determining a precoding matrix, wherein the method comprising:

• sending, by a transmit end of a wireless communication system, a reference signal to a receive end of the wireless communication system;
• receiving, by the transmit end of the wireless communication system, a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) sent by the receive end of the wireless communication system;
• and
• determining, by the transmit end of the wireless communication system according to the PMI, a precoding matrix W selected by the receive end of the wireless communication system from a codebook based on the reference signal, wherein the precoding matrix W is a product of a matrix W1 and a matrix W2, wherein
• the W1 comprises NB block matrices Xi, NB≥1, and the W1 is indicated as:
• W1=diag{X1, . . . , XNB}, wherein 1≤i≤NB, and a column xi,j of each block matrix Xi is a Kronecker product of a first vector Aij and a second vector Bij, that is, xij=Aij⊗Bij.

A method for determining a precoding matrix, comprising:

• sending, by a transmit end of a wireless communication system, a reference signal to a receive end of the wireless communication system;
• receiving, by the transmit end of the wireless communication system, a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) sent by the receive end of the wireless communication system;
• and
• determining, by the transmit end of the wireless communication system according to the PMI, a precoding matrix W selected by the receive end from a codebook based on the reference signal, wherein the precoding matrix W is a product of a matrix W1 and a matrix W2, wherein
• the W1 comprises NB block matrices Xi, NB≥1, and the W1 is indicated as:
• W1=diag{X1, . . . , XNB}, wherein 1≤i≤NB, and a column xi,j of each block matrix Xi is a Kronecker product of a first vector Aij and a second vector Bij, that is, xij=Aij⊗Bij.
