Abstract
A wireless communication device includes a housing, a substrate provided inside the housing, an antenna provided on the substrate, a metal plate removably attached onto the housing, having reflectance higher than reflectance of the housing, and having an opposing surface opposing the substrate when attached onto the housing, a detection unit that detects attachment of the metal plate, and an output unit that outputs a detection result of the detection unit.

A wireless communication device, comprising:
- a housing;
- a substrate provided inside the housing;
- an antenna provided on the substrate;
- a metal plate removably attached onto the housing, having reflectance higher than reflectance of the housing, and having an opposing surface opposing the substrate when attached onto the housing;
- a detection unit configured to detect attachment of the metal plate;
- and
- an output unit configured to output a detection result of the detection unit.
